RE: https://mastodon.social/@nicoreese/116855951140127214 Great analysis of this year’s Liquid Glass design changes. Especially in regards of use of HDR.

I wish Apple Mail’s empty view wouldn’t be that boring. I’m doing inbox zero and this is what I see when I reach my goal. 👌

I once again was wondering what the correct/best toolbar button placement for sheet close buttons are. So, I’ve inspected how Apple places their close buttons. 🕵️♂️ Unfortunately it’s quite different across the system, so it’s a bit hard to see a strict pattern. Some apps are even inconsistent within themselves like Safari, Wallet, or Weather. (All screenshots are from iOS 26, but from what I can tell it’s the same on iOS 27) #iOS #SwiftUI #LiquidGlass #buildinpublic #UIdesign 1/5 🧵

Want to check how your website looks with Safari’s different bars? I’ve just updated my little @Sketch design kit for liquid glass. #madewithsketch #uikit https://www.sketch.com/profile/alexkaessner/4de3a323-3d03-4d45-bfdb-e4d6e39db287

RE: https://mastodon.social/@daringfireball/116287045784510090 “I update apps manually, because I like reading release notes from developers who take the time to document changes, and I also like reading ‘Bug fixes and performance improvements’ over and over and over again from developers who do not.” It me! 😄 now have to get used to use the homescreen quick action to get directly into the update tab.

What the hell happened to the #Microsoft Teams app screenshots?! The content is super blurry, but the text on top is sharp. 🤦♂️

@Iconfactory@iconfactory.world Do you have any plans to properly update Linea for iPadOS 26 with full main menu support? Also it’s currently a bit rough at all of the popovers with the new liquid glass border radii. While I’m at it after the latest update, every time I open the app it shows the loading x of x sketches dialog for a second or two. That was snappier before. 😕
