OK so I have managed to make a new NVDA addon for DECTalk that works with NVDA 2026.1+ and hopefully preserves compatibility with older NVDA versions. My phone was acting up earlier on as if it was registering Ghost touches, then after trying the usual restarting and what not, I wondered if Bluetooth interference like my keyboard being on was affecting it, and somehow that was turned on without me realising lol, so it wasn’t Ghost touch issues, it was my Keyboard somehow being on and while in my bag random keys were being tapped.

I feel like the fediverse has too many anti-AI folks that those who actually use AI as a tool and not a replacement are getting shoved away.

So mastodon.social had a DDOS incident, and this was after the Bluesky DDOS attack, yeah I wouldn’t recommend anyone using mastodon.social, since that is the flagship instance it’s bound to get more DDOS attacks over time. Thank fuck I’m not on there but on a different instance, sorry to those who were impacted by this, I think this is one of the reasons why various fediverse advocates recommend people join the smaller instances.
