  Uh, @1password CLI, second only good thing about 1password, is unbearably slow. Seems like it has zero caching and each read request requires multiple round-trips to their infra which is on a seconds scale. Running local server makes it way better, but you have to store access token somewhere, and for above mention reason you can’t store it 1password itself. Why.

  And speaking of #networking I’m kinda baffled that copper 10G is bloody expensive. I have lab and studio with 10G net and hoping to get past 1G on my WAN. L2 is relatively cheap: you can get 4×10G Mikrotik CRS304-4GX for €150-ish. But L3? How about building x86 router from server scraps in this economy? Grrrh.

  Skipping on documenting deployments is the worst type of technical debt I spent half a day just documenting what hardware my new lab has and how it set up. It would be an hour or so, if vendors published a bit more than zero shit on their websites.
