  Since I am resurrecting some of my old apps from dusty basement, I had to bring back Radiant Tap’s privacy policy back to the current site. https://radianttap.com/privacy/ I strive to build apps in such a way that have zero interactions between me and customer data. Any data related to customer sits on their device and/or their iCloud. Bliss.

  Waiting for Review enters day 3. I don’t recall when was the last time this happened for any of the apps I am working for. Maybe apps that were previously removed from sale for a while now enter some very long queue 😕

  Second app successfully resurrected: Unitica is back on the App Store. https://apps.apple.com/app/unitica/id717659011 This is complete rewrite in Swift UI, with Liquid Glass UI. I started working on this few months back; took me a lot of experimenting to find layout that did not poke me in the eye. 🫣 i even took a break and updated Banca first and many UI decisions from there found its way back to Unitica. The app itself has a rather long history…

  Anyone knows what has changed in iOS 17 with NSCollectionLayoutSection' s `visibleItemsInvalidationHandler` so that transform or alpha changes to items are not applied on orthogonal scroll..? I am trying to create carousel-like view. It works as expected in iOS 16, nothing in later iOS versions.

  Attempting to Get an app from macOS App Store. I am logged-in, Tahoe 26.4.1. No buttons to act on, just empty box. I can't fathom how is something like this even possible to happen. Mac app devs — you have options in 2026. Do not make Mac App Store your only sales channel, it's utter shit that should be your last resort, if at all.

  This usage-per-platform graph in App Store connect is borderline useless. Who in their right mind cares about specific minor iOS version platform spread? I need to know how many customers I have on *major* versions so I can decide when to up my minimum deployment target.

  Finished “A Discovery of Witches”. Just perfectly fits my kind of fantasy show: great actor performances that elevates inevitably naive premise of wildly powerful creatures hiding and being somehow diminished by stupid humans. Wonderful series with basically no filler episodes.

  In one of the updates between macOS Tahoe and iOS 26 whatever, confirming Apple Pay purchases on mac with iPhone stopped working. Restarted both devices, nothing changes. Logged-in into same account on both. I have no idea what to do here apart from signing out of iCloud on both devices...which is the last thing I want to do.

  I read up to book 11…hm, could be up to two decades ago. Then lost track as Robert Jordan passed, Brandon Sanderson took over to finish the story, which understandably took a fair amount of time. Finally encountered these two (last one was out of stock) at the bookshop and they are now watching me with enthusiasm from this shelf…while I realize I forgot much of story beyond book 6, I believe. 😮‍💨 So need to start over and…I have misplaced books 1-3. 😫 Darn it.
