  Format a 512e drive to 4096 on Linux I have just received my Seagate 18TB IronWolf Pro HDD and the specs say that the logical sector size is 512 emulated. Moreover, Seagate says that switching to 4096 sector size is as easy as doing a quick format (Windows terminology?). I suppose on Linux this simply means creating a filesystem with that block size? For instance mkfs.ext4 -b 4096 /dev/device or - in my specific case - cryptsetup luksFormat --sector-size=4096 and then creating a file system?...

  I’m on Artix with OpenRC on a Lenovo Thinkpad T480. I’m running dwm on X. I have successfully configured dwm’s config.h - adding wpctl commands - to allow adjusting the volume with the F2 and F3 buttons. Works like a charm.   Recommend a frontend for SANE I used to digitize old family photographs with my mom about five years ago. We used a Canon LiDE 300 on Windows 10.   Is there a more lightweight solution? Like, some ssh frontend? I’d like to help my mom cleaning up her Windows computer because she’s not very tech savvy.   Can I overclock an android tablet with termux? Say, by sending some value to something inside /sys/.../cpu or the likes. I have already aggressively debloated the tablet, but I like to experiment and I am not afraid to destroy the tablet since I bought it for 150 bucks at sale. Or pehaps there is some Magisk module that can do this? The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy A9+.
