    Guys, bad news about your collected volume. They've got hundreds of monks making copies of it. Priests trained on those copies are going around, summarizing and interpreting for people who can't access or understand the primary source. Going to post my theses on it all very soon.

    This semester, I am encouraging my students to copy & paste other writer's phrases without attribution in their written assignments as a reminder that plagiarism began as a small batch artisanal craft and we refuse to let LLMs strip us of our humanity ✊ 😠

    In my scholarly communication course, we are covering some library basics like "just-in-time" & "just-in-case" collection strategies. When you consider Open Access publishing as a global collection strategy, how we go about choosing what to make OA best resembles a just-in-case collection strategy. But a just-in-time strategy may be the better of the two options. 1/3
