  ughhh for fucks sake. Doing 50mph on a 50mph road and a set of lights change to red. I’ve started braking the moment the lights turn red and I overshot the line slightly trying not to brake too harshly. then, as it’s a 50mph road I’ve now had to stop on, I quickly get back up to 50mph or near it. my insurance slaps me with a “don’t slam on the brakes” AND a “don’t accelerate too fast”. go fuck yourselves.

  Is it me or with Windows XP I feel like the faster your machine is the slower it runs? I have it running on a 2014 Xeon and it takes bloody forever to save settings on shutdown

  Trying out CachyOS and…could it be? Finally I’m using Linux on the desktop and actually enjoying it? It installed my workbench PC’s GTX 970 perfectly. It installed Wine in one button press. Holy shit…

  I will say though with the Soundcore V20i, they put out a surprising amount of bass. My Nothing ear (open)s will taper off the bass as you turn them up. These are louder and bassier. I just wish that Soundcore would also remember to give their products treble. On every pair I own I’ve had to taper off the mids and drastically raise the treble.

  this…SHIT…makes me viscerally angry there is no “set all as default” option that has existed since Windows Vista. you have to do each one, one by one. oh and there’s two options spelt differently (one incorrect, “programme” is not for computer programs even in british english! Windows apps aren’t TV broadcasts) that do the same thing and just launch a fucking bing search

  so it turns out that not only do Asda sell Nissin Demae Ramen noodles, but Home Bargains does and Iceland/Food Warehouse does as well and for like half the damn price of super noodles, AND they’re better Work lunch for 65/75p!! Can’t argue with that!

  turns out my favourite way to eat sliced chicken is layering some on top of a couple of pringles, be it original or salt and vinegar it’s unhealthy as I’m stuffing my face with crisps but hey, lots of protein 😆
