Decided to punt my M5S off a cliff and picked up a used Saturn 4 ultra. Need to get it some fresh release film, but hopefully it&#39;ll be a less frustrating machine. #3dprinting

Line feed to the house developed an open neutral. One leg jumped to ~150v and the other dropped to ~80v. Wild breaker tripping. National grid need to come out twice to fully resolve it. Apparently our feed lines had some old and terrible splices. Also some temporary connectors that never got replaced after the meter swap (or have been there forever, not sure). But props for them coming out within 20 minutes of me reporting the issues each time. I wish I hadn&#39;t spent a whole day trying...

How does one audit a home network reasonably? Thinking of setting up some self hosted stuff that may involve internet ingress. I can DMZ a machine, but it's an i-dont-know-what-i-dont-know situation. Are firewall rules enough? How much should I actually be worrying about someone getting access to my local network segments? #infosec #cybersecurity #diy #selfhosting
