There were two versions of Apple&#39;s &quot;Star Wars&quot; game for the Apple II. The first version was written by R.J. (Bob) Bishop in 1977. The second version, from 1978, was by Dana Redington. Note that &quot;ammo&quot; has been replaced by &quot;energy,&quot; among various other changes. SUCCESS! Finally got the Macintosh 512Ke on #GlobalTalk ! I couldn&#39;t find a Phone Net box with a DB9 connector, and my attempts to bodge one together weren&#39;t working. Picked up a DB9 LocalTalk connector for less than $10. Now I&#39;m ready for next year&#39;s #MARCHintosh , or #Apriltosh , or maybe #AprilApples (though I think LocalTalk only worked on the IIgs.)

They would go door-to-door through neighborhoods and look for families with kids. Most people couldn't afford the whole set, but you could buy a volume each month for 2 years. My parents did that. Sitting here, writing software on an emulated Mac II on a laptop that&#39;s at least a thousand times faster, I am realizing: - There&#39;s no need to lock in a feature set and specify all milestone sub-tasks first - Not required to add any AI features - Not required to gather detailed usage metrics - Not required to use (or not use) a particular language - If it has a bug, I can just fix the bug without having to write up a RCA and schedule meetings - Get to choose my own tools - It&am...
