@Smart_e_Disharmony@mastodon.social @notwhatwethink Gerrymandering sure as hell gives the GOP a significant advantage in Utah legislative and congressional elections. About 35% of voters are Dems; over 50% in Salt Lake City metro area. Yet, with GOP gerrymanders, Salt Lake City is divided equally among the four congressional districts. 23 out of 29 state senate seats are GOP; 61 out of 75 members of the House are GOP.
