Heute, Samstag den 4. Juli 2026, erhalte ich in Berlin von der PIN AG 10 Briefe. 4 sind aus Berlin (!), die älteste ist datiert auf den 15. Juni, 6 aus München, die älteste auf den 17. Juni datiert. Nutzt die PIN AG Pferdekutschen oder haben sie extra Lagerhallen für die Zwischenlagerung angemietet? Briefe aus den USA oder Schweden sind schneller da!

I spoke with some IT students about their jobs outside of class. Just a few years ago most were working at IT companies, mostly startups, here in Berlin. Today they are flipping burgers and manning the cash registers at Lidl. What a waste of talent, just because companies think that AI will solve all of their IT problems.
