@Mrfunkedude@mastodon.social Well, my concern isn't the quality peertube is capable of. It's what quality people will upload them in. But first world problems, right? 🤔 I probably will host a peertube instance, but no guarantees. I have a intel arc GPU and will probably do hardware AV1 encoding.

@paperposts@masto.paperposts.me Keep in mind even if it’s at 20GB usage it’s still deleting and re-writing that 20GB every 2 days. Going to add up fast on consumer grade NVME with the write cycles. IF you host from home, something to consider.
