I got my little deck painted. It was peeling bad after the blizzard. I was having the front porch done too, but they found some rotten spots so I got new steps.

Hags and Witches was one of my favorite anthologies so far this year. Folk horror is my favorite subgenre, and to me, witches are its backbone, its heart, and its core. I devoured these pages like a hungry child who discovered a house with a roof made of cake and windows of pure sugar. Have you watched Honey Bunch yet? I liked it but I had to close my eyes in 2 scenes. Not because of the gore, but because the flashing lights were going to give me a migraine. There is a warning at the beginning for photosensitive viewers. #horrormovies

I dunno guys. I see fewer and fewer posts here from people I've followed and I find myself here less and less. If anyone is the least bit interested in my horror book reviews anymore They're still on the blog but I quit posting them on Mastodon. https://wellwortharead.blogspot.com/
