@Wileymiller “Another day, another Trump lie exposed.” Headline further edited for clarity.

@NovaNaturalist @ml @gardening @academicchatter @fedibikes @Wildflower_Hour How very exciting. I love wildflowers, though I don’t really know so many of their names.

@dangillmor Are you sure? @newyorktimes keeps writing (in a number of different articles) about Trump has been winning so much lately.

@ai6yr This makes me so angry. I want unspeakably awful things to happen to that exterminator.

@rasterweb I feel as though this is the best argument for ebikes. I cringe when I see young people using them, but if they extend older peoples riding years then I'm all for it it. I was at a short community ride the other day and there were so many people in their 60s and 70s (I'm guessing) on ebikes who would _never_ have been out there on fully self-propelled bikes. And I have a friend who just got one for his 70th birthday. He had basically stopped riding, but now goes...

@Jetengineweasel @ai6yr @Wolf 157 here in Buffalo this morning. I went to a dystopian performance art piece last night featuring a "near future" filled with invasive mutant fish. It was outdoors in the haze with the sun setting as giant orange disc. A little too on point.

@mcnado MAGA (and others) won’t believe Bill Clinton. I can’t believe there are no photographs or videos of these guys. Where are they? Are none of these men interested in getting right with God?

@futurebird @MLE_online That's interesting. That very thing about ICE saying the person said they were here illegally was just reported in a case here.

@ai6yr IDK much about small plane and flying, but I find it fascinating this guy owns this plane and basically it’s been an afterthought for him for a number of years. (Of course I did once leave a boat in storage for years (only to find that the guy storing it had disappeared along with it)).

@Mollarom @chad As non-exempt employees they should make OT after 40 hours, so they would be grossing $1,750 per week, or $52,750 a year.

@LPerry2 @firefly @ai6yr It was on some other Alpha-Gal thread that I learned recently that some brands of toilet paper use animal derived products ("gelatin" generally speaking I guess) to hold the wood pulp together. And apparently this can trigger an A-G response. Not great if you use one of those products and have diarrhea.

@cookiesinheaven @ai6yr 11” of rain doesn’t even seem possible, let alone in 12 hours. I’m not questioning this report, just expressing how hard a time I’m having comprehending the magnitude of this much rain over so short a period. At least they have an ocean all around them it can run off to.

Does anyone have good reference for books, movies, etc. that would shed light on #bipolar disorder and especially what it is like to experience #manic episodes and recovery from them. I was recently drawn into a dear friend's mania and it was deeply scary for everyone involved, though they are in denial that they weren't their best self throughout. I want to understand what it is like to experience that, and how to help them not have it happen again. #manicdepression #psycholog...
