I think one of my biggest sticking points in learning Japanese is that I like being very specific about my word choice and the nuances that go with it and I just do not have nearly enough vocabulary to be able to do that in Japanese yet.

I&#39;ve noticed that AI loves to excessively describe images you feed to it (often incorrectly) even beyond the relevant bits. For example, I showed it this picture of my puppy and it&#39;s like &quot;I see you have a small dog with a big white patch and next to him on the gray couch is a remote and a plushie&quot; and I&#39;m like &quot;that&#39;s great but literally I&#39;m just trying to show you the dog, not his entire highly nondescript surroundings.&quo...

Why am I doing the DBA&#39;s job for them. I am a data engineer. My job is to get data from point A to point B. It is, noticeably, NOT my job to troubleshoot the database&#39;s load balancers because they refuse to believe the problem is server-side using nothing but ordinary write privileges, self-learning, and fiery wrath #programming #dataengineering
