Hi all, Does anyone have any critical questions/statements about AI to a company? My library is holding a town hall about getting AI and I would like to hammer them, but, y'know. Professionally. They might consider it more strongly if it's not full of bile. I've already sent several letters to the union about it. The most recent of which is that I want this to reflect in no part on our compensation. If the library wants us to use it, it will be wholly on their dime. But yeah,...

Wanna know how my day is going? I'm editing Registry Files. We got a 3D printer at work, (long story) and it needed software. I had the old version, but when I updated, I had both. After rigamarole with IT, I got it down to one, but it still wouldn't open ufp files. So I looked up the problem and saw that the resistry is probably wrong. I went in and edited it and now it (finally) works right. Whee. #Windows #Win11 #Libraries #TourmaLibrarian #3DPrinter

Just finished SteamWorld Quest: The Hand of Gilgamech. Very good game. Took &lt; 35 hours, by far the longest SteamWorld game for me so far. Different, even for a series that thrives on difference. While the six games share the same overarching storyline, there are only two sequels. I've played Dig 2, and it builds on Dig 1, but more in a basic concept way. Everything is more, for lack of a better her, fleshed out, they're robots, and feels like a very different clanker. I'...

Still not really on here, (enjoying it tbh,) but I do have a question. Could anyone recomend some #queer and/or #leftist #CountryMusic? Been in the South visiting my sister and the music vibes are pretty nice, but I know jack from squat about the bands and their politics. #country.
