Food security can begin at home. A kitchen garden won't solve every food challenge, but growing some of your own vegetables can contribute to household food availability and dietary diversity. Every productive garden is a small step toward self-reliance. #gardening #environment #climatechange #mastodon #solarpunk #nature #foods #today

I was on my way back from the grocery to buy some seeds but the manager of it had also plant some vegetables and veggies, the same situation which was happening to was also happened to him The temperatures had raised to 45°C in both gardens. I dont know when this period of high temperatures is ending because our crops have started wilting up.we are no longer harvesting high yields but harvesting death crops #gardening #foods #environment #mastodon #solarpunk #nature #climatechange #drought

When we teach students to grow food, we reduce dependency. We build a generation that can sustain itself. This is true education. What kind of generation are we raising? #climatechange #greengeneration #gardening #mastodon #students #environnement #food

Some lessons cannot be taught with chalk and a blackboard. They must be taught with soil and seedlings. I am proud of my students, their school garden is the favourite place they visit daily! #mastodon #gardening #climatechange #environment #greenworld #ⓐ #farage

From Soil to Soul There is nothing more rewarding than seeing fresh green leaves of plants in our community one harvest at a time. We harvested a fresh batch of cabbages and tomatoes 🌱 Nutrition: Feeding people and students who rely on me for their daily meal #climatechange #gardening #greenfoods #mastodon #environment #endhunger

School gardens are living classrooms where learners connect theory with real life. When students touch the soil, learning becomes practical and memorable. Agriculture stops being a subject and becomes a lifestyle. #gardening #foods #environment #climatechange #mastodon #soils

We planted capsicum (hoho) and eggplant, and the results are truly rewarding. Hard work, smart irrigation, and patience have turned into fresh, healthy produce. This is proof that when you do it right, farming delivers! 💧🍆🌶️ #gardening #zerohunger #climatechange #environment #mastodon

Today, I was at the school garden in the tomato yard Pruning and harvesting some ripe tomatoes What I always like at our school, we plant what we eat and grow , so when we harvested some tomatoes although they were little but we managed to take some in the school kitchen to be as our spices in the soul i would like to empower the same of us to grow what they eat and always wait for a good 👍 harvest according to the energy applied to the garden #gardening #mastodon #climatechange #environment

Hello everyone, today I went to the tomato yard! And I was very very glad of the work that am always doing. What's funny is that caring for them is like playing or eating food at my self , it's very easy and emotional at my own see. gains from the play. This kind of play is very fun cause I enjoy planting and I also get food , money and also serve to my neighbors then surplus is sold .What I can say this is fun so come and join me in this play #garden #nature #climate #environme...

100,000 Trees. One Shared Future Planting a tree is more than a gesture; it is a lifeline for our planet. At the Uganda Sustainable Community Initiative, we believe humanity has a responsibility to restore what has been lost. We are launching a focused, 2-month mission to plant 100,000 trees across Eastern Uganda—a region currently facing a critical rise in deforestation.
