Just finished Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and will be slightly off kilter for a bit. I bounced off the book many years ago, and now I&#39;m glad I did because now was definitely the right time for me to read it. It resonated in a way it wouldn&#39;t have when I was a young dumb shithead.

Really struggling to think of a gift for my son&#39;s birthday. Need some ideas! He&#39;s 25, very shy, and not into fitness or the outdoors at all. He enjoys gaming but doesn&#39;t want any new games. Ideally I&#39;d find some experience that he could fall in love with, so (a) he has a passion and (b) I&#39;ll have gift ideas in the future. He also loves Roman history, but isn&#39;t a podcast guy so my idea of the Hardcore History back catalog didn&#39;t fly....

Hey, #bjj and #jiujitsu peeps - tell me if this sounds reasonable or if it&#39;s just copium: About a year ago, I switched from a very smashmouth, wrestley kind of gym (where I went from white belt to brown) to a new gym across the street. New gym is much more technique based, and, being new, was mostly lower belts. Nobody over blue except me, the coach, and a purple with sporadic attendance. Lately, I&#39;m getting caught in all kinds of stuff I didn&#39;t use to to a very frus...

Hey, #fountainPen people - a question: Just got my first, and it came with a bladder converter. Seems messy and I'm having a hard time telling how much ink I'm getting. I was going to shop for a piston converter, but a buddy says he prefers to just refill cartridges. What are y'all's preferences? Help a noob out?
