One of the "joys" of doing what I do is that I get to work with the kind of enterprise companies who are doing that whole "we are on a journey from being 'an x company' to being 'an AI-native company that does x'" thing and... wow, the failure modes are not what I expected. I will admit to enjoying AI firms jumping from the &quot;massively subsidised GPU compute&quot; era to stage 3 enshittification, and the dawning realisation in some quarters that they have outsourced their knowledge work to a system where someone else holds a dial marked &quot;Clever Hans&quot; at one end and &quot;just an ordinary horse, just an innocent horse&quot; at the other.
