  In general, I'm very happy with my social media niche on the Fediverse, and I think dice.camp is one of the best online TTRPG communities, but I can't help but wonder what it would be like if more folks who joined stuck around, especially those who decamped to BS. The software has improved (and continues to improve), the community gets better, we don't have to worry about enshittification, or being sold out by a corporation, etc. I'd love if more people would return and give it a...

  Just finished the 100 minute long Spring concert at my children’s school. Our music teacher is very ambitious, which means the concerts are long, intricate, and chaotic, but I love them. When 4th grade broke into Pink Floyd (complete with a low tech light show courtesy of lots of glow sticks), I felt like I should have sparked a jay out of principle!
