  Recently a colleague I get on very well with left the organisation after complaining about it for years. On leaving, she said that the worst thing about the organisation was the fact that no one ever had to work in the office - we’re all on hybrid contexts which we can work in the office when we want to, but no one is obliged to. She was delighted her new place required her to be there 4 days a week.

  Please can all the nasty “tasks” that people* keep giving me be taken away? Mattie doesn’t want to do “tasks”, Mattie would like to hide in a corner please. *The people in question setting these tasks was one person - Mattie - who keep volunteering for things. The idiot.

  Went to give the dog his evening meal. The dogfood is held in the cupboard above the kettle. I told the dog I’d feed him, walked up to the cupboard, and automatically put the kettle on without thinking. I then made a cup of tea. Only then did I realised he was still looking up expectantly.
