Medically challenged but stubbornly undefeated fan of the outdoors. Have been known to crawl up a hill when I’ve bitten off more than I can chew 😬 I love to explore forests, hills and beaches. I wish I could add mountains to that list but they really are physically out of my reach. Head says yes, body says don’t you even think about it! ⛔️ When I’m resting, because inevitably I’ve overdone it out walking, I like to keep my mind busy by reading and knitting.

A little thread hopefully… My definition of a mountain is very different to everyone else’s. If it nearly kills me it’s a ‘mountain’. Though the reality is it is probably just a small hill to everyone else. I first spotted Steps Hill in April ‘22 and many times watched people climbing it. I was so jealous as I wanted a go - but I wasn’t strong enough, this was a big ‘mountain’. But I had a stubborn attitude and a plan that didn’t involve worrying about my broken lungs.
