Step 1 - decide on a drink you want. Step 2 - make something else for reasons that elude you. Step 3 - wish you had a third different drink while drinking the drink you made without wanting and yet not the one you wanted without making.

Extreme agitation today, probably because I&#39;m interviewing someone later. I&#39;ve done a million interviews before, but it still gets to me. Peopling is hard. Food&#39;s not working, so all-the-caffeine (the great calmer) is next.

I gotta say, I find &#39;actually&#39; being added to the ADHD and autistic hashtags to be very icky and gatekeepy and makes the yet to be diagnosed feel awful. We all start undiagnosed, and that&#39;s a difficult enough time without this sort of separatist sentiment.

All is not perfect with the #SteamController , I&#39;ve been getting occasional double presses of the A button in several different games. I thought it was just me getting used to a new controller... but I&#39;m not the only one noticing this. Hopefully word will get to Valve and they&#39;ll do a firmware fix 🤞

The utilities company are still trying to get a meter reading from me. They have no idea they&#39;re up against #ADHD I wish them luck, I&#39;m genuinely rooting for them.

Sooo, a routine doctor&#39;s appt (the kind I&#39;d usually ignore) a week ago saved me from an 80% chance of dying within a year from systemic organ damage. In fact I&#39;ve sustained no organ damage, such was the good timing. What bakes my noodle is that I usually ignore doctor&#39;s appts (ADHD doesn&#39;t help on that front), so the chances of me actually going to one when I really needed to are very small. Lifestyle changes and pills forever, but what a different year...
