    I keep dreaming about my house in Austin. It was my first house, I loved it and was supposed to live there forever. I miss it so much. I don&#39;t know why I have been so homesick lately. I&#39;m never going back to Texas.

    Got a few more coats to go on the throat plates to complete the pattern, then this all dries and cures, I run a very sharp blade to separate the pieces that got painted together from each other, then several glossy enamel topcoats to seal everything. Once that cures, the mechanical guts go back inside, I rewire the motor and get it all running again. :) Getting closer to finishing this one! #VintageSewing #Sewing

    Got some cleanup and more touch up to do, but I am super tired now. Need to stop for today. Edit: This is 100% painted freehand. 1926 Singer 128 Pride machine. Once all the painting is done, I&#39;ll put her all back together and get her purring like a kitten.     Ok. Here&#39;s a short little video of the Singer 237 with her new paint job. Every brush stroke applied by me. It&#39;s not perfect, but what is? This all has to cure thoroughly over the next few days. I will then remove the nose cover and top cover, touch up those areas, let it dry overnight, and then begin the topcoat process.     Spent the day with my boy. Took him to Aldi&#39;s and got him a cart full of groceries, washed his clothes, treated him to tacos, and generally just loved on him. Life is hard, but he&#39;s got backup. :)

    Started some adrenal glandular support at the same time as my good thyroid meds and I slept for about 21 hours. Woke up feeling not tired. This is new. Those poor little guys were worn out!
