Does anyone else here grow #microgreens and, if so, what method do you use? I'm seeing several ideas across numerous websites and am not sure if it's best to use jars and daily water rinsing or to plant the seeds in compost? I have vague memories of using wet paper (kitchen roll?) for growing mustard & cress at school. Is that still 'a thing that works' or am I just showing my age?! Advice welcome πŸ€— #GrowYourOwn

#AskFedi So, I fell off my bike - stupid mistake on my part - and broke my arm. I've now got a fair bit of unexpected free time while it heals and I'm quite restricted as to what I can do. #Reading is still possible though, so long as it's ebooks on my phone. History and science nonfiction particularly, but will consider anything. Especially if it's available through BorrowBox from the library. #FediAuthors please share your wares! #BikeTooter query ... Does anyone here use a rain cape when #cycling? Having got soaked again today collecting my veg box, I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to buy one. It would mainly be used for shopping trips and bike commuting (20-30 minute journeys) on a folding bike (a Viking EasyStreet). It would also need to cope with Welsh rain cos I live in #Abertawe! Recommendations, anecdotes and alternative suggestions welcome πŸ€— Please boost.
