We naturally give more attention to new software than to well-maintained apps. Curiosity pulls us toward what’s new. But usage is what sustains development. When we keep using, recommending, and supporting mature products, we strengthen long-term quality instead of rewarding constant novelty. The real classics — in software, like in shoes — aren’t always the newest ones, but the ones that endure. I genuinely admire products that remain relevant over many years.
