I swear this trend of musicians entering into exclusivity deals with Amazon where their music can only be streamed, not purchased, is so irritating. I&#39;m one of those people that wants to have the MP3 files of all the music I like saved locally (and backed up across numerous external hard drives). And I am perfectly willing to pay artists that actually sell their music, but if the only way I can get the song is to rip it off of YouTube or something, then it&#39;s getting pirated

And slightly related, it seems that the feds have taken down all of the YouTube downloader websites that were actually useful and didn&#39;t try to force you to install a browser and on to use &#39;em. (Granted the pop-up ads they tended to serve were really sketchy so you had to be good at fine-tuning uBlock and NoScript to get to the part where you can actually save the videos lol)

Because of the crazy increase in coffee prices here, I&#39;m finding myself including cheap coffees in my rotation, and I discovered something kind of hilarious. Maxwell House and Folgers are so disgusting that even the super cheap Walmart Great Value brand coffee is light years better than them. How the hell do they manage to be worse than Walmart? XD

Fun idea I sometimes play around with: being a micro and getting isekai&#39;d to a world with big friendly anthromorphs, but not knowing their language to start with, and with time as I learn the language, I find out the name they&#39;ve been calling me all this time is &quot;snack&quot; due to my incessantly pestering them to let me into their maws to explore all the time :3

In other news, a couple weeks ago I discovered an old book from the &#39;80s called Architect of Sleep about a human who gets isekai&#39;d to a parallel Earth where raccoons were the ones who evolved into civilization instead of humans. I really love the world building and setting and the raccoon characters so much, and the communication since the raccoons can&#39;t speak vocally so they all use sign language. Sadly the book ends on a cliffhanger, and was supposed to be part of a tri...

There&#39;s a peanut growing on top of gravel in my yard. I can&#39;t even get cat grass to grow without it dying in a week, but this cheeky little nut is growing on rocks just fine. It&#39;s not even buried! :p
