  If you struggle with getting started doing stuff, as I do, this might help. I came up with this "bore/chore" method which is basically "Set aside time, use it to either do the thing or be bored". A key part of it is that if it's not working halfway through the time, you can bail to do whatever and try again later. It's not sure-fire for me, but considering I have AuDHD and struggle with demand avoidance - that it helps at all is not nothing!

  This is from a 2014 post. I was writing a character to represent me, and asked myself why I hadn't made the character trans. Anyway I'm looking back on this part in particular and... I'm so glad I don't feel this way anymore. Being trans is awesome, I love my trans self. Transphobic society is what is awful, and the reason I hated being myself was because that society had convinced me I could never be good. Fuck that! I rule!
