I feel you can disagree with and dislike Hasan without in some way endorsing his subpoena by the US gov... Anyone who does, just failed a modern leftist litmus test for sure.

One thing that always bothers me about the &#39;[candidate] would have won if the far left actually voted for them&#39; argument is that if they knew that, why didn&#39;t they appeal to *at least* leftist single issue voters. If they didn&#39;t know that, why not?

yeah academic publishers and distributors are really important and have difficult jobs thats why i so often find myself ADDING ESCAPE CHARACTERS TO THE FORMATS THAT SPECIFICALLY REQUIRE IT

Its funny that Hasan Piker is probably extremely niche in the UK but now he&#39;s probably going to ride the Streisand Effect to a larger audience. Like I don&#39;t really watch the guy, I know what he&#39;s about, but getting denied entry for critiquing a genocide we are helping with kinda makes me wonder if I&#39;m missing out on something here.

Its kinda wild that JKR is as transphobic as she is but Brandon Sanderson, a literal Mormon, wrote the regenerative function of the stormlight power system to be gender affirming. (This is not saying that brandosando is perfect, he&#39;s very much not. Its just food for thought.)
