Saw "The play that goes wrong". Was good fun. Suitably silly that it engaged my 14 year old son. Then we took a Santander bike along embankment, around westminster , past the palace and through Hyde Park.

I don't really know what EMF camp is all about, but it seems like its the fediverse in meat-space. Lots of interesting, eccentric people nerding out about cool, quirky things. #emfcamp

I subscribe to the podcast : Alan Watts - Being in the way. It packages Alan's talks into nicely produced episodes. They don't release often so its always a pleasant surprise to find a new episode. #alanwatts #beingInTheWay #taoism

So sad to see the towerblock granted planning approval. Now down to the community to push for judicial review. https://www.bristol247.com/news-and-features/news/planning-permission-granted-south-bristol-tallest-tower/ On top of this, there are two other news stories about developers screwing over #bristol : https://www.bristol247.com/news-and-features/news/genuinely-exceptional-cabot-gate-tower-granted-outline-planning-permission/ and https://www.bristol247.com/news-and-features/news/bitter...

Came a very close second in the monthly quiz at the community centre. Only 1.5 points behind the leader. We only had a team of three whilst the winning team had five people. If we had an extra team member I think we would have achieved victory. #quiz #totterdown

Bristol city council are proposing to introduce 20mph speed limits on several roads across the city. There is a consultation to hear from local residents. Its quick and easy to complete. http://www.bristol.gov.uk/20mphSurvey #bristol #20IsPlenty #speedlimits

There may or may not be a cat in the house. Front door was open for a minute and I saw a cat hovering by the door. Fairly sure it came in, just can't see it anywhere. May get woken tonight by random meowing. #cat #SchrodingersCat

Our local orchard has many fruit trees in blossom so we ran a work party followed by a hanami (which I believe is a japanese term for tea ceremony to appreciate the transient beauty of blossom trees). It was a lovely afternoon improving our community. #bristol #totterdown

When people talk about a four day week, does that include schools or just office workers? If less time at school, is there evidence on the impact for learning? #fourDayWeek #askFedi

The crossover we never expected. Spongebob and Fugglers . The zany joy replaced with creepyness.

We've taken the train into London and are currently pottering around Spitalfields area. I've been dragged into Urban Outfitters and I feel so old. Like some dusty relic propped up on a chair. #iRememberWhenAllThisWasFields #oldMan

The old Debenhams department store in Bristol has been turned into an indoor skate park called "Shredenhams". Lots of little kids crashing about in the morning, and teens/adults in the evening. Great use of vacant urban spaces. #bristol #regeneration #skating
