This is the Republican who is running to take the seat being vacated by the Republican who cheated on his wife with a married staffer who was driven to suicide. The party is not getting any less misogynistic.

Vaccinate your kids if you want them to be adults some day. The fact that Trump is telling you otherwise is only because he cares about your kids as much as he cares about reporters and Air Force One personnel he sends on decoy planes to save his own ass.

Yet another case of economic illiteracy from the Trump administration. The US, lacking vibranium reserves of our own can't influence US production with tariffs on Wakandan exports. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50849559

This is ridiculously scary. Yes, we are currently talking about ballrooms and reflecting pools and inflation and Iran and Venezuela and Epstein and crypto grift and the moral rot of the GOP. But all that is going to be forgotten soon. Shit is about to get real, as they say.

RFK Jr has no scientific training. He's a history major with a law degree who worked as an environmental advocate but has never spent any meaningful time doing science, or understanding how science is done. This isn't "an alternative scientific view". It's just kooky opinions. https://x.com/atrupar/status/2083907234405269638?s=20

If you'll allow me a bit of a philosophical digression here: I have an undergrad degree in molecular biology and biochemistry and an MS in biochemical engineering. I spent 1993 - 1997 doing basic benchtop research in cancer and biofuels. I would not claim expertise in either BUT...

If you've ever struggled to figure out which politicians are most committed to the interests of the ultra-rich who oversaw hacks into the $5T Treasury payment system and led USAID cuts that will kill millions... just watch who he supports. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/30/us/politics/elon-musk-midterms-republicans.html

A truth of job interviewing is that you learn a lot more about people by asking what they have done than what they will do. ANY Senator voting to confirm Blanche based on the idea that he’s changed is, at core, doing a very bad job at doing their job. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/15/us/politics/todd-blanche-confirmation-irs.html

Trump was found guilty of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in civil proceedings, AND of defaming her in the course of saying she lied about what he did. He is now asking SCOTUS for immunity because lying about rape was done in his official capacity as POTUS. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/07/28/trump-asks-supreme-court-overturn-83-million-verdict-e-jean-carroll-case/

"For 5 hrs, solar provided more electricity than nat gas... [between 9 AM - 5 PM]... solar provided > 1/3 of all elec in TX. At times it topped 40% of supply. Solar also helped charge up enough batteries that TX set a record for battery output when the sun set". https://www.canarymedia.com/articles/solar/doe-solar-power-day-night-texas

It doesn't always happen, but this is one of those times when public sentiment is exactly right and ties directly to facts on the ground. Americans blame inflation on Trump tariffs and Iran war (1/2)

This is exactly right. It’s not just that Trump’s cuts to scientific research are making us dumber, driving smart people overseas and lowering our future growth prospects. It’s also grift.

Yes, this executive order is racist, and flat out wrong. But it would also be a perfect exhibit at the best museum in DC - the one that tells an honest story of America’s ugly and incomplete reckoning with our original sin.

If the Olive Garden maintained a list of all people eligible to eat pasta in your state and once that individual ate their pasta checked them off so that no one else could claim their breadsticks and was occasionally defrauded by Mark Meadows this would be a relevant comparison.

US soldiers are getting killed because Trump doesn't have a face saving way to end a war he didn't have to start and his cabinet doesn't care. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/07/18/world/iran-war-strikes-trump-hormuz

Based solely on the incomplete and heavily redacted documents that have been produced BY THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, there is much more reason to suspect that Donald Trump raped minor children than there is that he won the 2020 election.

Dude's got nothing. No intelligence. No coherent theory of the case. No information that he has shared in a classified or non-classified setting. Just the slowly dawning realization that no one loves him. This is not the time for fear. Kick him while he's down. Cue the Mortal Kombat GIF.

This isn't complicated: Don't rape women. Don't ignore issues in a ballot box that would be massive red flags in a job interview. Don't confuse performative theater for the job of a legislator. The Republicans have proven what happens if do those things. We don't need to copy them.

On the nation’s 250th birthday the President of the United States gave a speech that was delayed by global warming he ignores in a capital that was crawling with white nationalists he encourages where he called to make it harder for married women to vote.
