  Gatekeeping has no place in software developer circles. I had (and committed) enough of that nonsense during the IRC/Forums days of the early 2000s. There should not be a "you must be this tall to ride the ride" style of thing happening with software dev. That being said. Someone calling themselves a "software developer" because they prompted Claude / ChatGPT successfully once feels like a giant insult to the profession.
