<p>Became vegan when I saw a display of fish on ice and thought to myself, “why is this okay, this is someone’s family, friend, loved one. Just because we don’t understand their communication, that they’re “weaker” and can’t fight this captivity, it’s okay to accept and become desensitized to this barbarism?” Then it dawned on me, this is the same line of reasoning in capitalism and fascism. Veganism is progress.</p>
