    In 1975 I was working on my Masters during the &amp;quot;Energy Crisis&amp;quot; and we proposed a car that used a small turbine (that would run on any fuel) to power electric motors in 4 wheels. Our hangup at the time was lousy batteries and computing power, but I still think it was a good idea.
