Reminded once again this morning how much of an impact you can make for someone, simply by showing them basic kindness and treating them as a human being. Particularly in a space where they may not expect it. I am grateful that my job gives me opportunities to be that surprising face of human kindness for folks.

@Cal I definitely feel this. And then there's the other issue that I get massive anxiety that my message could possibly be misconstrued, so I have to spend an inordinate amount of time on it. And add lots of asides and clarifications. And by then start worrying it's far too long to send. Etc. etc.
