  One thing that bothers me most about AI is the fact that it's being pushed by *every* major tech company ubiquitously. There's no thought about the users, only making money through forcing AI on us at every turn. Use Windows? Copilot is in EVERYTHING! Google? Gemini is EVERYWHERE. What if I want to use my own AI? What if I don't want to use AI at all? This is a major problem that needs solving. #Pearl #AI

  I won't be a part of the Data Collection Surveillance Society we've got going on. I'm just not going to. Nobody has to. It's crazy that we've even accepted it enough to get to the point where we're at.

  I've started rebuilding the main GUI of my apps in the new framework and it's worlds better. Once I finish the rebuild, both apps will hit official v1.0 status and support rich text, alpha channels, frames with rounded corners, etc. It'll be a massive upgrade.

  I got rid of all the social media from my phone except for Retro-Gaiden. I just don't need the constant distractions.

  I feel like cell phones should be more of what they used to be in the 2000s. Texting, calling, and a handful of other useful tools like maps. Phones just don't need to be big doomscrolling / surveillance machines that spy on us and wreck our mental health.
