  There's a pretty large group of people in the Fediverse who can't dilineate Systemic injustice from Systematic. Not everything is "the man" masterfully moving the marionette to its whim. Sometimes is just a large body of people, making independent decisions. I guess when you feel like you are attached to one of those strings, the experience isn't much different.

  I installed #THUGPRO. The community ran Tony Hawk mod that gives you all the classic THPS maps and more. The project is quite old at this point, but it still has some activity. It's awesome that it is working. I love the game, but it has some drawbacks with modern, adult eyes. P2P wasn't so spooky when it was mostly kids playing together.   I made an 88x31 creator in Python. It has baked in template assets and animations, a custom animator that allows for pixel-by-pixel, frame-by-frame customized animations for the people more creative than me. Exports as GIF, PNGA, or a sprite sheet and CSS using 'steps() '. Supports 60FPS in the two latter formats. I also ported it to android and it works fairly nicely.   It looks like we survived the first night of the Beta launch. I was debugging and live supporting all night, but I think we ended the night with a robust pipeline. Doing analytics tomorrow night.

  Hot out the gates on Day 2 of the Beta run and things are snappy! I'm super pleased with the current state of things. It'll be interesting to see how 1st shift breaks it next week. That said, tonight is logging and analytics.

  Found another thing available to me through work's enterprise Google plan. Google Flow. Looks to be a pretty solid video generator for the price of Free-For-Me! Not sure how I'll use it or when, but I'm always eager to chuck another tool in my toolbox. $EMPLOYER probably didn't expect or intend for people in my department to utilize these services much, if at all, so I'm trying not to push my luck.

  Day two beta run of the work pipeline is complete. Today was far less stressful. I worked out the last (🤞) of my index shift bugs and I developed a game plan for the last of my data cleaning. I spent a fair amount of time looking at Google's Data Studio as well. I'll be throwing together a nice little live + historical dashboard for the department. Hopefully I can leverage this work to push for incentives so we can raise morale and retention. Highly underpaid Solutions Engineer over...

  Last night in my down time, I applied for Enterprise Access of Claude through $EMPLOYER. Instead of going through higher channels, the auth went to my department Head, who approved it instantly. I just ran my work project through it, and Claude's suggestions are in a different world compared to Gemini. I know people have been griping about degradation in Claude, but it'll still save me a hell of a lot of time on my AI involved stuff!

  Switched to KDE. It feels a little heavy compared to Gnome. It's a fair tradeoff though, because you can make it look sick as fuck. It feels like rainmeter was built into a DE.
