    Seems like an issue with the app you&#39;re using then. My guess is it doesn&#39;t support HTML formatting, which is the fediverse native way of formatting posts. Posts are supposed to be federated as HTML and then the receiving instance interprets the HTML. But the threadiverse also includes a source version of the post which is in Markdown, Mastodon iirc doesn&#39;t do that.     I&#39;m the same as you, haven&#39;t really improved at drawing since I was a little kid. But this is Lemmy, not Reddit. People here aren&#39;t looking for perfection, your drawing skills are more than enough for this thread. It&#39;s of course fine to not want to draw something, but don&#39;t hold back just because you think your skills aren&#39;t good enough.

    My red line is when the user experience becomes worse for me on Windows than on Linux. Not saying that Linux is bad, it&#39;s definitely not, but it seems to use a completely different paradigm from Windows which is much less aligned with what I want out of an OS than Windows is. So fundamentally my user experience on Windows is better, the enshittification is just adding trade offs until they eventually outweight having to go with a paradigm I don&#39;t agree with.     They don’t just use office from the web, via Linux? You can access excel, word, …, all of that in a browser. Web office has barely any features compared to the desktop thing, iirc.
