@gepasi @soliman Geez, you all are grumpy today. You can query by ORCID by doing this, for example: https://api.openalex.org/authors?filter=orcid:0000-0001-6507-9168

    Author name disambiguation is an extremely difficult problem. We're continually improving, but we do and will continue to make mistakes. We'd love for you to continue providing constructive feedback, but if we're not up to your standards right now, check back with us in a few months and see whether we continue to disappoint you or not!

    @gepasi It looks like Robert Muller claimed your ORCID on this work: https://doi.org/10.1093/nar/gkac331

    @gepasi It's something we're going to be looking into soon. We just made a big push for better ORCID integration. Round one of this does not account for bad ORCID data. We're definitely going to have to get more resilient to those errors (and the manual curation tools will help too). But we're developing this thing out in the open—this is how it goes!

    @gepasi aw, thanks!
