  What?! Spotify shows video podcast preview in the home tab and pauses the music I’m listening to at the moment to play the audio of the preview? That must be a bug…

  Recently my #unity installation stopped working on my windows machine (froze the whole system at initialising graphics). So I installed #Ubuntu on it and unity worked fine. Now, when I `prime-select nvidia`, #Vulkan games via #proton won’t run. If I `prime-select on-demand` the games won’t use the dedicated #nvidia GPU. So if I get a new PC, I obsiously have to decide: reliably working unity (Ubuntu) or reliably working games (windows).

  @robyn @DL6PL so eine (opt-out) Datenbank gibt es in Österreich auch. Radio Amateur (die Person) heißt Funkamateur auf deutsch. Ich bin seit 3 Jahren CEPT 1 Funkamateur, stehe nicht in der Datenbank und die einzige Einschränkung die ich bemerke ist, dass beim Wandern Platz im Rucksack fehlt. Weil jetzt ein Funkgerät im Rucksack ist.

  Finally had time to work on my radio streaming app for #ios (Copper) again. Adding some UI adjustments (for iOS 18 and 26) and a fix for the non functional search. radio-browser.info is a bit unreliable… I believe I’m ready to release 1.10 this week.

  Also, I had time to work on my #ambulance service #triage app (pSTaRT) a bit. There is some more work ahead, but next week or the week after a new version seems plausible.

  Honestly, I was about to cancel my developer account at Apple. Why? Well, my 2018 MacBook Pro gets a bit slow Burckhard not bothering me. What’s bothering me is, that it doesn’t support #macOS Tahoe anymore and won’t support any future #Xcode releases. But you need the most recent Xcode version to release apps at some point. It‘s not like with android where you could have a decade old laptop with the most recent android studio on it.

  I bought a #worx #landroid robotic lawn mower. I‘d like to say more about it but after a few failed map upload attempts the first party app got rate limited (http response #429…) by their own back end… What I like about it is that the battery is swappable and interchangeable with other worx products.
