My analysis indicates we should fire you, the CEO, as you have the highest salary. They will be able to purchase more tokens then to use for productivity.

  • Pizza Hut's AI system caused 'cascading' problems and $100M in damages, franchisee alleges in new suit

The complaint says DoorDash drivers began waiting to batch multiple orders together after gaining virtual visibility into kitchen systems, allowing them to see when pizzas would come out of the oven. Instead of immediately leaving with a completed order, the suit claims drivers waited “up to fifteen (15) minutes” for additional deliveries, increasing the time between when a pizza is removed from the oven rack and when it leaves the building to be delivered. That delay slowed deliveries, disa...

Oh I honestly didnt understand there’s a perpetual database you can go back and look at, I didnt even know i had one on android, I just turned that off. I understood it as they need a database to hold the notifications you should be shown and it gets purged eventually kinda thing. As a history it makes sense, and that its something that can leak. Also if you leave it on, uninstalling an app should definitely purge its history.

Hey just FYI, if you do decide to get something, the AC180 is last years model and is upgraded by the Elite 100v2 even though they still sell the AC180. There’s a comparison on the elite 100 page about half way down, but if space is one of your concerns, it’s smaller, and 12lbs lighter for only 130wh less. It also chargers faster from solar than the AC180, but a little slower from wall power. With 1800 watt output power (3600 surge) it can run anything a normal 120v outlet can run before tr...

I just wanted to add another note Even if this ozone thing turns out to not be true, there are still all sorts of other things being burned up in the atmosphere that can have other potential effects. It all needs to be studied. I wouldn’t be surprised if 50-60 years from now, if there is a real issue, that it eventually comes out that SpaceX or other mega constellation companies figured out it would be a problem, and just said nothing. Much like how big oil new CO2 was a problem forever ag...

We already radiate heat away just fine in space, it’s just a matter of how much space do you need to use to do it and all the implications of what that would mean for any given satellite. I wouldn’t call it free, because you need the hardware to do it and the extra weight reduces the payload capacity of whatever you’re sending up, but we can do it. Starlink also uses laser links to talk to each other which these satellites would also use. So you go up from land, bounce around with lasers in...

This isn’t true for low orbit items. They will come down on their own in ~5 years. At the absolute worst case scenario, we’d be blocked or ~5 years. R

If they stop working they will just de-orbit it early, or if they can’t cause it’s really broken, they’ll just wait the ~5-10 years to come down on it’s own.

I don’t think anything was proven yet, but something came out saying it warranted more studying? Satellites might need to be redesigned around it in the future.

These aren’t big things, they’re small satellites. They’re going to be ~100kW

These are also going to be in a low orbit so they have good latency

First time I’m hearing about a non google OEM made phone, that would be amazing!

And immediately blocked. I’m not against AI, I use it, but I want to be using it on my terms, not have it shoved into everything I use.

The warning is futile. Everyone that partakes will do it at least once.

Clearly their adoption of rushing out AI generated code is working well.

Foe the record my stance was if your stance was below. AI is a crutch for dumb people. I never said you had to like it or not liking it makes you an idiot.

If your stance is AI is a crutch for dumb people. You’re right on track to be that 70 year old raising his cane in the air ranting about the useless AI stuff going on and now you can’t figure out how to get our social security check because it uses that new AI based system.

Ah, yes those people definitely don’t care, they’ll make their money either way.
