Was man so beim Lesen lernt: der Ursprung des Konzepts der wehrhaften Demokratie liegt beim deutsch-jüdischen Anwalt Karl Löwenstein, der es im amerikanischen Exil unter dem Begriff "militant democracy" (also militante Demokratie) in 1937 vorstellte.

First talk of today&#39;s #CablesOfResistance: a talk by Dr. Silvia Weko from #FAU (the university not the union) on the role of big tech in energy transition through cloud computing. Nice to see a nuanced view on the technologies followed by an analysis on how this leads to bi-directional, structural dependencies between energy and cloud computing companies. As noted yesterday in the keynote: interoperability only works between a small few cloud companies.
