All photos mine. As a teenager, I loved a class that spurred my interest in creating and sharing photographic images. For most of my adult life, I put that interest aside. Decades later, I have taken up photography again. I hope you enjoy!

Guide? Warning? Portal to alternate dimensions? I clearly have played too much BioShock Infinite. Cue the Al Jolson-esque version of Shiny Happy People. #photography #Massachusetts #CapeCod

Wonton prepares to ride out the Fourth of July fireworks in the basket that holds his toys. Sorry, but you'll have to find your own basket. #cat #photography #NYC

Nobody messes with the Spicy King! Taking photographs as a street photographer makes me uncomfortable, so I don't often set out to do it. This subject, however, made eye contact with me (an obvious tourist with a long lens and a bright yellow camera pack), struck a pose, and then cast his gaze nonchalantly to the side. I mean, when was the last time you even saw a stationary person on a sidewalk who wasn't looking at their phone? Is it even street photography then? Beats me. #SanFrancisc...

Hello, Neighbor! This fox was hunting across the street and up a hill from a burrow where two kits remained hidden. I hope to return for some more photos before the foliage returns. #photography #fox #Connecticut

A sweet natured retriever enjoys one of the last days for dogs at the town beach. On April 1, the beach became off limits to dogs until after Thanksgiving. #photography #monochrome #BelieveInFilm #Connecticut #dog #FediDog

My roll of film came back tragically scratched, so instead of grainy analog goodness, I can only offer a digital take on this foggy coastal scene. Sigh. #monochrome #monochromeMarch #Connecticut #smartphone #photography

Jimmy and I were drinking bourbon and listening to poetry by Rumi when we encountered this bit of wisdom: "Deliberation is one of the qualities of God. Throw a dog a bit of something; he sniffs to see if he wants it. Be that careful! Sniff with your wisdom nose. Get clear, then decide." Jimmy agrees and says that, if you wish, you can boop the wisdom snoot. #Rumi #Dogs #FediDogs #snoot
