BREAKING NEWS To cheer up Viktor Orban up after the Hungarian people told him “You’re Fired” Donald Trump has just nominated Orban to the position of US Attorney General. Orban told the media his first task will be to eliminate US elections. (sarcasm …. but would it really surprise anyone?)

@MetroReasons@thepit.social Plus no cabs, ride share, or passenger pick up/drop off at the station so even if you’re arriving via Amtrak or Marc you’re stuck walking blocks to get a ride or METRO connection. My daughter, returning to college, had to walk several blocks with luggage rather than a simple connection with the Red Line because Trump and the GOP think a major public transit hub is theirs do to with as they please. This is how royalty treat peasants not how elected public servants...

@wdlindsy@toad.social I have to wonder if the leadership in the US Catholic Church is waking up to fact that the GOP conservative allies in their anti-abortion crusade are also their biggest adversaries in trying to grow the Church. The GOP is, at best, driving away and, at worse, locking up and deporting parishioners. Some Catholics slowly left the Church that we saw was out of alignment with the teachings of Christ. What has changed now is the GOP is directly attacking the Latino communit...

@TinJar@mastodon.social Not culling …. Weakening. A populous that is sicker, poorer, and less educated is easier to control and more grateful when the wealthy toss them some scraps. It’s perhaps the start of the 2nd Dark Ages period in modern human history.
