  Just had to break hard to avoid 2 masked guys on a blue scrambler bike who were driving erratically on the wrong side of the road in Castleknock Village. So much for the effectiveness of the newly enacted Grace’s Law. #Scrambler #garda #roadsafety

  Much of Dublin City is in dereliction. Then Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, one of the few unique buildings people enjoy, often features on postcards of the city, is now permitted to be demolished! The owners plan to replace it with what looks like a transformer robot with bricks. It looks awful 🤢 It really shows Dublin is primarily focused on international stakeholders as an investment opportunity, with no care, knowledge or connections to the city. https://www.irishtimes.com/business/2026/0...

  Excellent article on Madrid metro project. What surprised me : - the project team were public in house rather than private. - general public supported the 24 hour construction because they were communicated the benefits of fast delivery. - 8 boring machines worked simultaneously. - Decisions requiring political input, such as station locations, were often made within 24 hours ! 🤯 Metrolink Dublin take note. https://worksinprogress.co/issue/how-madrid-built-its-metro-cheaply/ #metro #plan...
