    Hello everyone and welcome to a special &amp;quot;Molly&amp;#39;s recovering from surgery&amp;quot; edition of the #PortraitChallenge . I&amp;#39;m too low on spoons to look up with the original was, but I enjoyed sketching this gentleman.     I&amp;#39;ve got a broken brain noodle and I can&amp;#39;t find what I&amp;#39;m looking for.     I didn&amp;#39;t have time to finish the sketch during the Hack &amp;amp; Craft session last night, but after a bit more time last night and this morning it&amp;#39;s complete. This was from a photo for the 5/1 meeting of the Pretentious Cleveland Portrait Artists and the model&amp;#39;s name is Liz Herron.     I saw the #MonochromeMarch hashtag and thought it would be fun to do a painting! This painting is of a banded alder borer and was done in gouache on 12&amp;quot;x9&amp;quot; mixed media paper only using the color black. It was a very fun painting to do!
