On top of that we have despotic dictators, who only leave office when they die.   Any UN resolution on the Straits of Hormuz by the US and Bahrain will fail. China and Russia will veto it. It best for Arabs States to close down all US bases and enter formal agreements with Iran to end the war.   As long as the question of Taiwan exists, the Chinese will never entertain Trump's on-way-traffic discussions over it.
