Part 2 of me trying to write songs for solo guitar and then adding a bunch of overdubs anyway. There's a couple of solo guitar pieces on here though that I think stand pretty well on their own. https://m-ackerman.bandcamp.com/album/residue #guitar #electro-acoustic #jazz #rock #indie #instrumental

What's You? is a compilation of songs I've released over the last five years. I commissioned the artist Alex Stanton (Wou Wou and the Wormling) to draw the cover. My prompt was pretty simple, "a weird party." The rest was all him. I'm pretty pleased with it. Bandcamp is giving their share to fire victims today so it's a good day to buy some independent music. https://m-ackerman.bandcamp.com/album/whats-you #bandcamp #BandcampFriday #guitar...

@robertelectricity well, they look nice but they do block your view. I was actually T-boned by someone whose view was blocked by a tree

welp, enshitification complete for Soundcloud. Can't upload unless you pay now. Edit: someone has pointed out that there is an intentionally hard to spot option to continue as usual with some new limitations. Basically Amazon style trickery

@stevenray yup. They made the price low at least, $3 and some change per month. But for me it's just the principle. It's like everything is going the way of treating artists as customers (whether we make any money or not) even though it's the artists that make the platform what it is

So, the bass line to Love Buzz by Nirvana is in the harmonic minor scale, specifically Eb Harmonic min, 5th mode. Did Novoselic know this? Honestly, wouldn't surprise me either way. He's going up and down the scale in a fairly straight forward way. On the other hand, he could have just been messing around and came up with the riff. Cobain is doing some things that are in the scale and some things that aren't. The thing about music theory is
