  #PennedPossibilities 1031 — Are you satisfied with the genre(s) that you write? Absolutely. I know fantasy has a weird reputation (especially romantasy). But being influenced by Pokemon, Narnia, HP and Septimus Heap, creating worlds that could be has always been something I love. And tbh, as much as I suck at lore building (Legends of Signaia made that painfully obvious), the creativity and whimsy needed for a fantasy story is clearly there. #WritingCommunity

  So the problem with going into an oversaturated niche as a content creator (in my case Pokemon/video games) is that it's extremely hard to stand out. People have their go to creators, and rarely switch (unless they get caught up in a scandal). Part of my issue is that I was heavily influenced by Chuggaconroy. And if you've ever watched his videos, you'll know that a lot of research goes into them. Which can be overwhelming at first

  #ScribesAndMakers – 18th May. If someone were to write a character based on you, how often would exclamation marks be warranted in your dialogue? Not a lot. You would think with ADHD and Bipolar, there would be a lot of opportunities for exclamation marks, but social anxiety, RSD, inferiority complex, insecurity and general introvertedness cranks it back down to near zero

  So, the consort system. I have thoughts. So this is going to be short, since I plan on doing a blog with all of my thoughts. But just know I've been approaching it the wrong way.   Okay women, I need help. I'm doing research into women's clothing as I like putting their favorite clothes into the character profile. And the two things that consistently throw me off are cup sizes and skirt types. So my question is, what is the difference between a mini skirt and a pencil skirt. Also, why are there so many different skirt types?

And I had a few friends that I got along with as I had just moved there from Kenya. Also an art teacher who was really awesome.   So I'm still working on my consort post, but can I say just how much of a political dance being a consort or queen is? You're only chosen as a consort if you have any value, and would only be chosen as queen (or at least the primary queen) if you offer the most to king, and by extension the kingdom. Love is utterly irrelevant in this conversation.

  #ScribesAndMakers 15/5: What's going well with your creative work so far this month? Funnily enough, despite being tired with life, I still have enough brain power to come up with ideas for Spirit's Blessing. So at least I'm not burnt out/depressed. Also, ideas have come in for my game as well, but that's on the back burner. I really need to start streaming, but I'm still hesitating about how to run it.
