This was a thoroughly eye-opening read — not that it comes as much of a surprise that the Artificial Intelligence industry rests on a rotten foundation, but I am a bit taken aback by the extent to which it is already embedded in our economy and its various interconnected systems. The numbers cited from OpenAI’s ”burn rate” forecast are staggering. I think we are in need of a new turn of phrase, because ”hemorrhaging money” doesn’t even begin to describe the reality of the situation. #AI #BigTe...
